“When the Democrats were in power, this is the way they did business. It was not right then and it is not right now,” the governor said in a statement. “Regardless of what party is in charge or what important issue is being discussed, the process must be appropriate and thorough.”
Even though he is a Republican, I DID think we were getting something more in McCrory than the party-line-toeing schmuck. I’m glad to see I was right and glad to know I voted for him. Nothing succeeds when it is done one-sidedly – and inevitably when this bill goes back to the house, it will be under FAR more scrutiny.
